The center is located on the site of a renovated US Air Force facility from World War II, surrounded by breathtaking hills in Hertfordshire. The military area and the surrounding countryside are, as you can expect, very different from one another. This is especially true when you see the enormous 40-foot-tall Scud missile launcher at the basecamp, which makes for excellent paintballing photo opportunities.
The facility has also made extensive use of the infrastructure of the former airbase, bringing a distinct and authentic atmosphere to the eight paintball game zones and basecamp. You’ll also value the ease of having guests’ unrestricted parking on the main runway, which is comparable to Heathrow Airport.
